very true, especially since the joint has a strange piece of clear plastic sticking out for not real reason

I actually do this with most of my models as well as my own Arnval as well, so this works - use masking tape, just enough to cover the hole in the leg where the ball joint goes, stick it over said hole and push the joint in. My Arnval's leg is now just as stable as the other, and you really can't notice the tape inside.

This works for almost any type of joint if you want to tighten them up, given that the material is solid enough. Had to do it to my Master Grade Wing Zero as well, and now it can hold its wings almost any which way.

What works best is, shock and surprise- Floor polish.

What you want is a bottle of Pledge Future floor polish, the concentrated stuff you glug into a bucket with gallons of water and mop onto the floor. (POLISH, not cleaner.) Brush a bit onto the balls straight from the bottle, wriggle them around a bit, optionally post a video of your Shinkis doing the butt-wiggle dance on Youtube, and when it dries you should be good to go! Apparently the working ingredient is a liquid form of vinyl, so you're adding more plastic to the joint.

If your busou shinki joint is too tight, you can use grease. As you can see in link, he use tamiya grease at Ach's joint, this will prevent joint crack.

If your busou shinki joint is too loose, you can use latex glue. Dry latex glue is rubber like and easy remove that will appropriate for Busou Shinki joint.

I think you shouldn't use hot glue, because MMS body has silicone inside to tight their joint, you can see when unscrew them. If you use hot glue, ball joint will change it shape, and it will change silicone's shape too. For long term, hot glue will damage silicone part and make joint loose again.
