Yes they are, but they have great articulation. I can get a myriad of poses out of them. And indeed, the new guy is Jake Sully from Avatar.

That is a Jada Toys Big Time Muscle 1/24th scale 2007 Shelby GT500. Technically its not meant to be KITT since they released it before the show aired, but looks darn close.
