Re: How did you get started?
As per usual, I'm late in the game lol. I can credit pixiv artist いくや@潜伏中 with introducing me to Busou Shinki. It was this picture in particular that caught my eye http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=big&illust_id=32694844 . I then looked into things and saw a new TV anime had just come out ...

Re: SoniaStrumm's Shinkis
The scooter pics are actually quite cute. Oh, and I had a rather comical mental image of Melinda going all "vrrrrrooooom" looney toons style on the mini-scooter that made my day lol

Absolutely wonderful pictures, they're all so animated and full of life.
Loved the "moving" picture set. I cracked up at Lirbiete crashing and burning with the cord lol.

Re: New Member Introductions
I'm not sure why she doesnt get much love, honestly. She's a loli in twintails with a hilarious default personality. Do people really prefer the blue that much? Sadly so it seems, but some good news of sorts. I happened to mention this to an artist on their amateur picture depicting a sad neglected...

Re: Mandarake, what do you think?
Do they have more shinkis than they put up on the website? I'm actually set to drop by Fukuoka next week and was planning on stopping by the Mandarake there. I checked the English language online shop and it only listed Shinki currently for sale at the Nakano branch. To be expected I guess consider...

Re: Mandarake, what do you think?
Mandarake is a 100% legit operation. Hands down the most famous store of it's kind in the country and has been for over 20 years. All of my experiences with Mandarake have been in person. So far I've been to the Akihabara, Nakano, Osaka, Shibuya, and Ikebukuro branches. Actually, I was just at the 8...

Re: New Member Introductions
Hello all, Just got my first Shinki and decided to celebrate by joining BSW! I'm a Wonder Festival regular so I'll start keeping an eye out for Shinki related updates and goodies there in the future. So I broke down and went Shinki shopping last weekend. While at a store with a nice Shinki display c...
