Worst Busou Shinki Toy?

Now obviously it goes without saying that all Shinkis are wonderful and are to be loved. However, whilst all Shinkis are equal, some Shinkis are regrettably more equal than others. So basically, are there any Shinki toys that, compared to the usually extremely high standard for the line, just fall a...

Re: Which Shinkis should be remade first?

Sorry for threadromancy...ahem... A Mk2 of Murmeltier would be awesome, mainly as she's so bloody expensive nowadays. If they gave her leg units with actual working treads then that'd be sweet. Maochao and Howling could do with Mk2s as IIRC they don't even have proper elbows when fully armoured. An...

Re: A new arrival...

Hmm. Should have thought about that. Well, here's a pic anyway, taken with my PS Vita. I apologize for the potato quality. http://i.imgur.com/Ild7w24.jpg I just love the unfoldy extendable arm modules- I currently have her displayed with them unfolded and the twin swords attached. BTW: how good for ...

A new arrival...

I woke up this morning to find that my shipment from Mandarake had arrived, containing none other than the lovely Espadia! She's my first Shinki and I love her to bits. I really love the modularity aspect (I've already come up with like 10 alternate armour configurations so far) and the design kicks...

Re: Fun with Figmas!

Is TV Version Strength worth it? She looks fantastic (and I love me some poseable hands) but she also looks kinda fragile...and very, very big.

Re: 3D Printing a 1:12 scale doll.

Be careful- Shapeways plastic is kinda brittle. Also it hhas a kinda chalky finish unless you sand it really well. There is a much smoother material, but it's REALLY fragile.

Re: Espadia or Lacramento?

Well, I looked at some pics and reviews of the pair of them, and I decided to go with Espadia. Those swords (and the giant combi-sword they can form) were just too much for me to resist.

Hopefully she'll be arriving here soon!

Espadia or Lacramento?

So I've spotted Espadia and Lacramento on Mandarake for the reasonable price of 4500 yen each. However, I'm trying to control my spending at the moment and thus only want to get 1 (for now). The question is, which one should I go for? I'm leaning towards Espadia due to her giant sword, although I do...

Re: Best/Worst Locations to Buy Busou Shinki

Are there any places besides Mandarake that are good for buying Shinkis in the UK? I know AmiAmi does preowned stuff but their shipping is super expensive and they don't mark down value on packages like Mandarake (which is just too unreliable and the prices are craaaaaazy sometimes). I've checked e...
