Thanks for all of the advice, everyone; sorry I never responded. I could have sworn I was subscribed to get emailed responses to this thread, but I guess not, so I didn't see this until just now. I decided to just sell my Partio as an eBay auction. It's here in case anyone wants to take a look.

I'm trying to sell a Light Armor Ferret Partio (like this if you're not familiar with it), and I have the original box it came in and all of the separate pieces, but it does have one problem: the stand is broken. The long stick part just snapped in half. It might be possible to fix it with some epox...
