I dunno if you've been following the leaked stuff coming out of Asia, but the new Beast Hunters line will have a Smokescreen in, I believe, wave two. Perhaps it's a scalability issue? Trying to 'project' a full size human is either too energy intensive, or else the projection loses coherence outside a certain range?
