Re: WHY IS NOTHING HAPPENING?!

It is a little slow between waves recently, but it's not like Konami hasn't been releasing things. The mizuki, repaints and the last wave of light armors just came at february - march. If you check the past release schedule at fanmode, there has been 4-5 month breaks between some releases. Yeah, I c...

Re: Our very own copypasta

I'm, personally, really sick of this. I usually go about ignoring most trolls, but I've seen threads where this damn thing popped up 3+ times. Not to mention that, like I said, practically every thread even mentioning busou shinki, usually gets one of these stamped on it. Ignoring the troll this tim...

Our very own copypasta

To the many shinki enthusiasts who are also /toy/soldiers on 4chan, how many of you are really, really sick that every time anything referring to busou shinki, even in passing, makes some troll use this tired old copypasta? Time for an essay. I believe Busou Shinki is the cancer of toy. It was okay ...

Re: plastic disintegration?

Unless you got a lot of toys to dust, you don't need much canned air. I find wal-mart usually has them for a reasonable price. Oh, and I know this sounds creepy, but don't lick your toys after you spray them with canned air. The propellant is bitter, and if I remember right, mildly carcinogenic (act...

Re: Sewing Funtimes

cool hat! I like personal touches to shinkis... Maybe this sounds weird, but it kinda shows how loved they are. Y'know, like how stuffed animals get all worn and matted when they spend a lot of time being cuddled, rather than on shelves?

Re: My First Shinki!

Nobody 'plans' to get a lot, especially at the price shinkis come at. However, you get a few, get enthralled with them. Then it's oh, look, that artist I really like put out another wave, or oh, look, the next wave looks so cute/cool. Then, eventually, you get an ex set or a shinki that comes with a...

Do you go around calling them 'orangeheads'? Cuz that would be great.

Re: My First Shinki!

Congrats on your first step into the abyss. As for the fally-aparty, I find that different shinkis have different tightnesses on their body parts. When you have multiple, you can actually mix and match limbs to get the ones with the best fit. If you're lucky, you can improve the fit of all of your s...

Re: plastic disintegration?

I noticed that effect too. Some of my shinkis (and capsule figures) get sticky/oily over time, yet others don't. I don't think it's plastic disintegration because in most cases, the oily stickiness washes off, and the paint is no worse for wear. My parents say it may be due to oil fumes from cooking...
