Re: Machinegeist's custom shinkis
Pretty much just the head, I took off the headgear peice and trimmed of the chunk that was there then greenstuffed the hair to look right. i think i got the hair pretty well for being my first time playing with green stuff on a Shinki. Azone eat your heart out
After a short leave of absence (I couldn't work out how to make a pair of trousers, lost my temper and gave up with sewing).. here's a sailor uniform top I just made, inspired by the Azone one. It looks horrible but this is just the first prototype so please don't hate :D http://i5.photobucket.com/a...

Re: TROUSERS!
So far the best anti-fraying method I've found is to dip the edges in wood glue as it dries clear and is difficult to crack. This only works for that muslin (I think that's what it's called) thin, cloth because it's so light, dunno how it'd hold denim.

Re: TROUSERS!
I would also be interested in instructions for making these. Also, could you recommend a material that resembles denim? I have actual denim on hand which is no longer fit for me to wear, but it would probably be too thick for a six-inch figurine. still working on that one! I know there is a materia...

Re: TROUSERS!
Thanks!
If anyone's interested, I can write instructions on how to make these, using only felt, muslin cloth and velcro.. I might just say sod it and write them anyway..
